A Johnson County orthodontics manufacturer will establish a new headquarters in Franklin and add 154 jobs by the end of 2023.
G&H Wire Company Inc. announced Friday that it plans to invest $3.3 million to lease and equip 55,000 square feet of corporate office and manufacturing space at 40 Linville Way.
The 40-year-old company with customers in more than 120 countries will leave its existing Johnson County facility, which it has outgrown, and is expected to be fully operational in its new space by the end of the year.
At the new facility, G&H will continue to manufacture orthodontic supplies such as brackets, bands, tubes, wires and elastomerics.
“This location decision was critical to continuing G&H’s success,” company CEO John Voskuil said in a statement. “After evaluating multiple options, we chose to relocate and expand a short distance from our existing facility.”
The Indiana Economic Development Corp. has agreed to give G&H up to $1.8 million in conditional tax credits and up to $200,000 in conditional training grants if the company meets its job creation goals.
G&H currently employs 151 workers, including 141 in Indiana. Applicants interested in the company’s new office and production jobs may apply at ghorthodontics.com/careers.
