  1. Crazy to create this new layer and leave IPS intact. Why not just complete the wrecking-ball task and eliminate IPS entirely and give all its powers to the mayor or the governor? If you’re going to disenfranchise Indianapolis voters, might as well just own up to it and do it completely.

    Also, I wonder why all this focus is on IPS and not on any other school systems. Hmm. What could the reason possibly be?
