Republican Todd Rokita and Democrat Jonathan Weinzapfel agree on one thing in their bids to become Indiana’s next attorney general: Each promises integrity in the office. That’s a reaction to Curtis Hill, the Republican who won the office four years ago and has been accused of inappropriately touching several women at a legislative party in 2018. Rokita, a former secretary of state and congressman, defeated Hill in a remote party convention to become the GOP nominee. Now he faces Weinzapfel, a former Evansville mayor and member of the Indiana House. IBJ talked to both about their ideas and proposals.

  1. I either won’t vote or will vote Democrat. Cutis Hill is a fantastic AG, and I support him in his future endeavors. That dirty inside politicking was unfair and unjust I don’t like the way Rokita slinked in the back door. Integrity to circumvent voters?
