  1. 6-3 decision coming up. Clarence “pull up the ladder behind me” will vote in Trump’s favor, as will Samuel “I only pay attention to clear Constitutional text when it suits me” Alito. If Trump offers Kavanaugh a few beers, he could have his vote…

    1. It’ll be 9-0 bc they’re making the dumbest argument possible with these so-called birth tourism claims. If there is one thing the Trump DoJ loves one thing, it’s looking like utter fools in a courtroom.

Also worth noting that Trump himself attended oral arguments, unprecedented in our history. Would pay good money for the look on his face when he loses 9-0

  2. Birth tourism is just a stalking horse for Republicans. The real issue for them is the resulting “chain immigration.” This is where relatives and family members of the wealthy birth tourists have a preference and can jump to the head of the line over those who are not wealthy, but are just waiting their turn in line to immigrate. That is one thing that the President and Congress could work togetheron to resolve. However, as that is a hot potato item for Democrats, there is no possiblity for anything actually being done by Congress.

    1. The problem is that they haven’t been able to show that “birth-tourism” is a real thing. How do you expect Congress to work on something that isn’t real.

    2. Trump also literally rolled out a program to allow wealthy immigrants to buy their citizenship so I’m not sure your point really holds muster.

    3. Michael N.

      Trump allows the wealthy citizenship
if they invest X amount of dollars in the U.S. to start businesses and create jobs.

And yes, the Hatfields and McCoys will not work together

    4. John C.

The so called poor have been jumping the line by the tens of millions for decades over people trying to immigrate legally.

  3. It is time the courts real in Trump. He has made it his mission to walk all over the constitution this term. His first year in office proved what he wants to do, and that is anything he wants to do, no holds barred. His administration is inept, just look at what has taken place: Hegseth is destroying the military with his own rules and Iran has become the U.S.’s version of Russia vs. Ukraine. Patel is firing agents for doing their jobs, but they offended Trump so they must go. The FBI is a sham now under his leadership. Under RFK, Jr we have the lowest vaccination rate in decades and now the highest measles rate in modern history. The “in”justice department’s sole reason for being is to “find” reasons to prosecute Trump’s perceived enemies. So the checks are finally coming into place, hooray!

    1. He’s turned our govt into a reality tv show and real estate development racket bc those are the only things he knows how to do

    2. Many lower courts have been reeling him in. It’s SCOTUS that is the big concern, because they’ve given him his green light of presidential immunity, knowing full well that he would go break the law with every possible opportunity. Time for SCOTUS to choose America and the Constitution over Trump. And, I would add, long past time for the GOP to reel in their president that they have run as their best-choice leader for three elections in a row. If Trump is the best they have to offer, it’s embarrassing. If Trump is NOT the best they have to offer and they can now admit that, time for them to impeach and remove him so we can start rebuilding our decimated government and our obliterated global trust and goodwill. It’ll likely take a generation or more to undo the damage Trump and the Republican Party have caused in barely more than a year. Shame on all of them.
