So WIBC is basically left with Katz and Hammer and Nigel. who would each self-destruct if they ever had to criticize Trump or Israel, and Ethan Hatcher, who dresses like he is on the frontier, looks like he smells musty, and earnestly believes that bus and bike lanes are part of a conspiracy to replace cars (I think his top hat might be too tight.) and conservatives wonder why they struggle to find a voice in cities…
Thank goodness they still have the Sat H&G show with Pat Sullivan and Denny Smith.
With Rob Kendall’s departure, Casey Daniels leaving was a matter of “when” and not “if”. Guessing WIBC’s ratings during the 9 to noon slot have fallen off a cliff. Casey is adequate but her husband Jim Kehoe is a boat anchor. Never has anyone talked so much and said so little. He made the show unlistenable. Good luck to Casey in the future.
Too bad. I liked the shows done with her husband. So much better than the insufferable Rob Kendall.
WIBC used to be such a power player and voice in local news and information (and 50,000 watts on the am dial) but then became a home for whining wing-nuts, most of them one-sided and only on the right side of the spectrum. Tired of them a long time ago. Hello Sirius! **Full admission — never heard or heard of this person leaving, just miss good local and responsible radio. The few times I’ve listened? Well it’s pretty awful and tailored to limited and specific tastes.
I sure miss Jeff and Terri.
While you may not like WIBC, those with a conservative viewpoint enjoy many of their programs. If you listened to Tony, he does express both positive and negative opinions on Trump’s actions.
