This year's Indy Jazz Fest will feature six days of music, leading to an outdoor concert at Opti-Park and the Indianapolis Arts Center with recording artist George Benson.
While Benson may have the highest mainstream profile, there's plenty of other talent in the lineup. Leading up to Benson on the main stage will be Spyro Gyra, Yellowjackets, Rufus Ried, and more. Meanwhile, the Jazz Legacy stage will offer saxophone trio Wow, Cathy Morris, and Indy Guitar Summit. And the Emerging Jazz Artists Stage will be dedicated to high school and college musicians.
The September 17 event caps a week of Indy Jazz Fest events at various venues, including APA Cole Porter Fellowship Award-winner Aaron Deihl at the Jazz Kitchen.
