You-review-it Monday

For me, the weekend included six shows in Chicago caught while attending the American Theatre Critics Association annual conference. Among them: The outstanding original musical "Eastland" at Lookingglass and the Phylicia Rashad-directed "Immediate Family." More on these and others in an upcoming column.

I also started screening films that will be part of July's Indianapolis International Film Festival. The goal: Distilling a list of recommended films by the time the fest begins July 19.

What about you? Did you get to the season kick-off Symphony on the Prairie? Play competitive croquet at the President Benjamin Harrison Home? See Christopher Plummer in "The Templest" at a movie theater near you?

What did you hear, see or do on the A&E front this weekend?
