The arts group I’ll play for at Indiana Grand Casino is…

On July 31, I announced a contest.

To recap: The folks at Indiana Grand Casino invited me  to play in a celebrity poker tournament on Sept. 12. The prize? Well, that depends on how well I play and how the cards fall. The charity I select gets $200 for each celeb I knock out (watch your back, Rik Smits). If I survive longer than the rest of them, there's an additional $1,000.

If I somehow manage to win the whole tournament, however, the prize could pass $11K.

The challenge, though, was figuring out what charity would get the (if any) prize. So I posted on the blog, asking you to name the not-for-profit arts group you think should win the (if any) money.

With random numbers chosen by a colleage, one group was picked for each day of the contest. From those, IBJ Editor Greg Andrews blindly drew one. (This way, I couldn't be accused of bias, no matter who was ultimateily selected.)

So who will I be playing for?

Heartland Actors Repertory Theatre, whose free production of "The Taming of the Shrew" runs Aug. 9-10 at White River State Park.

As for the tournement, well, let's just say its time to dust off my Phil Gordon books.
