As part of First Friday Dec. 5, the Arts Council of Indianapolis announced that it will award two $100K two-year fellowships for artists and arts teams working in partnership with a nonprofit organization, community or neighborhood in Marion County.
The Transformational Impact Fellowship, created with financial support from Lilly Endowment, will be open to artists with a demonstratable performance or exhibition history who live and work in central Indiana. More details will be available after Feb. 2, 2015.
The Arts Council also announced that applications are now available for the latest round of Creative Renewal Grants. Once again, 30 recipients will each land $10,000.
