Producer Taylor Martin—in the guise of Mistress of Ceremonies Andrea Merlyn—hosts an evening of magic acts including Cody Clark (who got his start with this series), and Francis Menotti (as seen on “Penn & Teller’s Fool Us.” Surprise appearances—different then the kind that usually happen at magic shows—are expected from past performers as well.

This jazz supergroup has an unusual process. Each spring, the members gather to work on the music of an established artist and also music by the group’s members. What you’ll see at the Palladium is the former, this time considering the music popularized by Michael Jackson.
