Just moments ago, it was announced that John Mellencamp will be inducted into Cleveland’s Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. A celebration of the honorees will occur March 10 at the Waldorf-Astoria in NYC.
Is it too early for Mellencamp? Too late? The right time?
Does an institution like the R&R Hall of Fame really jibe with the rebel rockers it often celebrates?
And, come on, isn’t there a more appropriate place to celebrate than the Waldorf?
