Hysteria or playing it safe?

Wayne law firm that called police about a suspicious gift bag it received. The suspicious package had come from a man who
was being sued by a client of the firm, and the firm knew he was upset.

A SWAT team showed up with a robot and other bomb equipment only to find a turnip in a sandwich bag.

Did the law firm do the right thing or did it overreact?
