e-mail, blogs and video.
Indianapolis-based Cantaloupe TV recently unveiled at a trade show the VideoHere video
management system that allows companies to upload, customize and embed videos in their marketing communications. The idea
is that a company’s potential customers prefer a video message embedded in an e-mail.
The product is aimed
at e-mail marketing providers, blogging software systems providers and custom Web site content management systems, said Stacy
Billanti, president of Cantaloupe.
Among the first customers of the new product is Salem, Mass.-based Net Atlantic
Inc., which will offer VideoHere as part of its e-mail marketing solutions.
Cantaloupe unveiled the product this
month at the Marketing Sherpa Email Summit in Miami.
Indianapolis has become a bastion for Web-based marketing
products, with companies such as e-mail marketing firm ExactTarget and blogging software firm Compendium.
