Marion County hospitals will lift visitor restrictions that were imposed last month to guard against a large outbreak of influenza. The Marion County Public Health Department announced Wednesday that regular hospital visitation policies could resume Friday because flu activity has subsided. The restrictions were implemented Jan. 18 after flu activity reached its highest levels since 2009.
