Fishers-based hotel management and development company Dora Hotel Co. in September assumed management of the Holiday Inn Express & Suites at 9797 North Michigan Road.
The deal is the first between Dora and hotel owners Frank and Danette Kennedy, a father-daughter duo, of HC Carmel LLC.
The 66-room Holiday Inn Express & Suites contains 25 suites, a business center, fitness center, indoor pool and hot tub. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi, complimentary breakfast, the IHG Rewards Club and free parking.
Visit Indy officials said the Carmel hotel is often used when big conventions and trade shows such as the National FFA, Performance Industry Racing Show or Gen Con come to town.•
