Capital Improvement Board President Melina Kennedy said on Feb. 8 that the group has started its search to replace longtime Executive Director Barney Levengood.
Kennedy said CIB has received interest from “quite a few” local and national applicants, but she declined to elaborate. The group expects to make a hire in the second quarter of the year, she said. Medallion Partners, a Carmel-based firm specializing in high-profile job searches, is assisting with the effort.
Levengood, 64, announced on Jan. 11 his plans to retire from the board after nearly three decades at the helm, but is staying on to help with the leadership transition.•
