Sisters start new trucking firm

Two former executives of Carmel-based Performance Marketing Group have launched a trucking firm—Rapid Freight Solutions.

Sisters Megan Bissmeyer and Jenny Kehrer have started rolling with 10 tractors splashed in a black paint scheme
that country star Tim McGraw would take a hankering to.

The sisters obtained financing from an undisclosed local
lender and have 14 employees.

“Despite the recent downturn in the economy, there are endless opportunities in this industry,”
said CEO Bissmeyer.

She and her sister managed fleet operations at PMG, which often consisted of semitrailers
used in event marketing and promotion.

“We were able to establish the infrastructure of our company for
a fraction of the cost we might have in years past,” said Kehrer, COO.
