  1. The Carmel Redevelopment Commission should demonstrate where it spent $50 million on downtown parks. Where are the financial reports from these Redevelopment Commissions showing specific expenditures?

    “Mr. Westermeier added that this is done behind closed doors without public input.”
    This is done for about every Redevelopment Commission in Hamilton County. No annual budgets, No descriptions of any actual spending, etc. You can find TIF distributions and maybe bond payments, but what is that money spent on? They just say “infrastructure” most of the time.

  2. Yes, lots of closed door approvals, no public input or conversation in Carmel government. Anxiously awiting the audits and transparency that Sue Finkam and the incoming council assured would happen in campaign promises.
    Lots of smoke and mirrors around these parts!
