  1. Something incredibly shady happened with TikTok when it went dark for a moment in January. This was the app many of us ran to during the last few years to be able to speak freely/find our voices in the midst of political divides and bias in the US mainstream media. The script was completely flipped overnight. The governance/moderating/restrictions on how we comment is out of control. Voices are silenced. Profiles are removed. It’s almost like a side-deal was made with META: “…Hey, get behind this administration, and we’ll let you run TikTok into the ground so that people will flock back to Insta/FB/Threads…” It’s not the same platform it once was. Very sad to see it go the way it has…
