  1. It would seem going with part gas/part ev would work better. Better to have no limits to travel/use as opposed to a even 400 mile ev only. Still makes an ev a sometimes vehicle.

  2. In my mind the success of pure electric vehicles hinges on the speed of recharge and ubiquity of charge stations. Lots of charge stations but a long (20+ minute) charge time = fail. Quick charge time < 10 minutes but few places to charge = fail. Like it or not people have been conditioned by the convenience of a 5 minute fill-up available on every corner. People want a car that fits their life, not a life that fits their car.
