  1. Looking forward to it. That same building used to house the steak restaurant Carver’s in the late 90s – early 2000s which was one of the only nice steak restaurants on the south side.

Nice to see Greenwood adding another nicer restaurant to the mix (along with the ones Bargersville is slowly adding).

  2. “I’ve spoken to several pharmaceutical reps and device reps who have to take their south-side groups to downtown Indianapolis to get private dining amenities. I think it was important for us to be able to offer that to the community.”

Sure, if you skip over Our Table, Revery, and Stone Creek which has been on the south side for over a decade, there’s nothing.

Hope this makes it but it’s not that long a drive to get downtown and it’s an interesting location they’ve chosen.

  3. I never thought there’d be another chapter in the Mo’s-Prime 47 saga. Delighted to see that there will be!

You know I can’t believe nobody has thought to open another steakhouse in the Indianapolis area. Why not open up to three more?

Maybe even open the next Mo’s A Place For Steaks in a location that is both next to Prime 47 and a Morton’s the Steakhouse! It could be like one of those suburban strip malls with a half dozen different eateries, but they’re all upscale steakhouses with complicated names — Ruth’s Chris Steakhouse (why is the apostrophe where it is? Who knows!), The Capital Grille (but make sure it’s not actually in the capital, maybe this would be a good choice for Avon), and Hyde Park Prime, not to be confused with Prime 47 of course! You could even have Del Frisco’s, which is presumably not from (the) San Francisco, but still has an article in the name. Call the development A place for the Steakhouse and Pharmaceutical Reps del 47 Prime Number 33 Lounge! (Is 47 a prime number? Yes! But 33 isn’t.)
