  1. I’ve read Mr. Hicks CV, I didn’t see any time where he operated a hospital, of any size. It’s always so interesting to hear from someone that has no application discuss the robust knowledge they have. His illustration of purchasing a cell phone being equal to hospital operations just goes to the depth and breadth of his insight. I liken it to a service tech at Walmart trying to explain how to remove a bowel obstruction.

  2. Our medical costs are some of the highest in the nation. There is no denying that!
Since the medical community refuses to be transparent with their costs, there is no other option than state regulation.
The entire state should use Medicare reimbursement rates as the benchmark for the cost of care.

The healthcare community has to be held accountable for what they charge.
