Indianapolis-based ConverSight.ai—which uses artificial intelligence to interpret conversations—has raised $700,000 in seed funding.

The round was led by Johnson City, Tennessee-based The Angel Roundtable and included participation from Elevate Ventures and four other investors, who were all involved in previous rounds.

ConverSight.ai—which is participating in the Minneapolis-based TechStars Farm to Fork Accelerator—plans to use the money to increase marketing and sales efforts, grow its sales team, and move forward on patents.

ConverSight Chief Financial Officer Charlie Farber said the new round of funding will allow the company to increase marketing and sales efforts, grow its sales team, and move forward on patents. “These funds are significant and will help us grow and scale quickly,” Farber said in a statement. “With new technologies, speed is critical.”•
