  1. The change that’s really needed is a Constitutional amendment to require a supermajority in each house of the Legislature to overturn a Governor’s veto. Our Legislature already has too much power to stick its nose in places where it doesn’t belong.

  2. I seem to recall that the governor, numerous times during the COVID emergencies, asked legislative leadership if they wanted to be called into special session and they declined.

So, that being the case, maybe what needs to happen is that legislators should remove their majority leaders with new ones who will listen to them… and not another law.

  3. Sniveling Leftists are always so quick to abdicate power over the rights of citizens and the representatives they elect, it’s almost like they love the thing they claim to hate…authoritarian leadership. Don’t worry, their Marxist surrogates in Congress, the Courts, the DA offices and the Universities have proven quite effective in their methodical destruction of our Republic, just hope they remember (when it’s too late, of course) that when the Elitists take over our property, our food, our medical care, and our rights to live freely, they’ll be the ones crying the loudest. But while we’re waiting for that, be sure to mask up so that we know who to thank.

    1. Yes, Jolf.

Classic projection: accuse your opponents of doing the very things your Dear Leader does.

Steal a Supreme Court seat? Check.
Stack the lower courts with unqualified lackeys? Check.
Throw the farmers under the bus? Check.
Take tax deductions and benefits away from hard-working people? Check.
      Tax cuts for billionaires? Check.
