One thought on “Retail sales rose 1.7% in March, driven by spike in gas prices

  1. In February, before the spike in gasoline prices and the tax refunds, retail spending was up .7%. Excluding the spike in gasoline, it was up .6% in March. Did I miss something, or did warmer weather and tax refunds result in a lower increase than in February?
