Shoe Show is closing its Circle Centre store after a brief run in the downtown Indianapolis shopping center.

The store’s last day of operation will be Sunday, an employee told IBJ. Shoe Show’s other local stores will remain open, the employee said. The retailer has two other Indianapolis locations—Castleton Square and 8101 Pendleton Pike—as well as one store each in Greenfield, Franklin and Whitestown.

Shoe Show opened at Circle Centre in fall 2019 in a spot that had been formerly occupied by Payless ShoeSource. Payless shut down all of its U.S. stores after filing for bankruptcy in February 2019.

Founded in the Charlotte suburb of Kannapolis, North Carolina, in 1960, Shoe Show Inc. has its headquarters and distribution center in another Charlotte suburb, Concord.

The company has more than 1,150 stores in 47 states.
