Sorry to all the creative types but Speed City evokes images of everyone being on drugs. Also, sadly, it’s been co-opted by Trumpf Administration’s nickname for the concentration camp it leases from the State of Indiana.
All of this seems very lazy and not creative. Speed City! Really! How one dimensional. While the state says they will cancel funding to enhance and enlarge White River park we are focusing on racing to identify us. The Indy 500 used to be the only thing we were known for. That is not true anymore. Lets try something new for a change! How about “Indy Showplace”!! “Most walkable city in America” “Midwestern Jewel” “INDY, its a Vibe” thats just for starters.
