Note to parents who allow their children to drive their golf carts: you have no insurance coverage if the child is an unlicensed driver and causes an accident that results in property damage or bodily injury. This is because only licensed drivers are permitted to operate golf carts in cities that allow golf carts on streets, and you cannot get insurance to cover something that is illegal to do.

  2. The clock is ticking until the first accident between a gold cart and a pedestrian and/or kid on a bike. Who will the Mayor and council point at then?

  3. I was a jogger for over 40 years and just encounters with bicycles flying by on trails caused dangerous near misses. Now Westfield is putting golf carts and pedestrians on the same path. I hate predicting serious injury but there is a high probability that a serious accident will happen. The Mayor and the City Councilman who voted for this will be responsible. Where has common sense gone?
