For the first time, Indianapolis will play host to the WNBA All-Star Game, with plenty of events leading up to the big night on Saturday, July 19.
The WNBA All-Star Host Committee has released details of numerous events and promotions to bring attention to the game, with festivities beginning on July 18. And other Indianapolis-area organizations are getting in on the fun, offering entertainment and interactive activities throughout the city.
Here are some of the events happening in Indianapolis this week ahead of the All-Star game.
WNBA All-Star Weekend events in Indianapolis
All-Star Cure
July 12-13, IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center, 535 Barnhill Drive
The WNBA All-Star Host Committee is partnering with the Susan G. Komen Tissue Bank at the IU Simon Comprehensive Cancer Center to recruit 500 women to donate healthy breast tissue during this two-day drive. The Komen Tissue Bank is especially looking for donors who are under 40 and those who are members of minoritized communities or racial groups. “Lead the Way” Women in Coaching mixer and panel discussion
6 p.m. to 8 p.m. July 16, Irsay Family YMCA at CityWay, 430 S. Alabama St.
This networking opportunity invites women, former players, coaches, referees and basketball advocates to discuss representation, mentorship and how to grow girls basketball. Featured panelists include Rushia Brown, a former WNBA player and former executive for the Las Vegas Aces and the Los Angeles Sparks; Lisa Willis, former WNBA player and NBA G League coach; and Suntana Anderson, head women’s basketball coach at Marian University. “Play Like A Girl” basketball clinic
3 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 17, 2025, OrthoIndy Foundation YMCA, 5315 Lafayette Road
Girls ages 12-18 can participate in an on-court clinic with former WNBA players and members of the AAU Youth Basketball Advisory Council. This event is free but limited to 150 participants. Register online here.
Sports, Tech and Venture Summit
7 p.m. to 10 p.m. July 17, noon to 9 p.m. July 18, and noon to 10 p.m. July 19, The Cinderwood Building, 601 S. Meridian St.
The event, hosted by the Players Company, Plain Sight, Be Nimble, and Sixty8 Capital, offers networking opportunities, live podcast recordings, a pitch contest and panels covering topics including raising venture capital amid shifting climates and the transition from player to entrepreneur. Early Detection of Breast Cancer Saves Lives: Free mammogram event
9 a.m. to 5 p.m. July 17-19, South Street Square Park, corner of South and Alabama streets
Presented by Black Health Matters, in collaboration with Eli Lilly and Co., this mobile screening unit will provide free mammograms to eligible participants throughout All-Star Weekend. Women ages 35-74 who have not had a mammogram as of July 17, 2024, are invited to participate. All insurance is accepted, and the procedure is free for uninsured women. Patients must be able to walk up and down stairs unassisted. Parking is free for participants in the lot at the corner of Alabama and Henry streets (inform the attendant that you’re there for a mammogram). Register for a 10-minute appointment via Eventbrite or call 317-779-3899, between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. weekdays.
All-Star Shoot for the Stars
July 17-19, Children’s Museum of Indianapolis, 3000 N. Meridian St.
This three-day event, hosted in partnership with NASA, includes meet-and-greets with the federal space agency’s experts, a spaceflight simulator and interactive virtual reality demonstrations. For more information like hours and ticket prices, visit childrensmuseum.org.
She’s Got Now Empowerment Awards Luncheon
2 p.m. to 5 p.m. July 17, Indianapolis Artsgarden, 110 W. Washington St.
The luncheon aims to celebrate women’s contributions to sports and beyond. Single tickets start at $268.61 and are available on Eventbrite.
“Good Morning America” broadcast
7 a.m. to 9 a.m. July 18, Morris Bicentennial Plaza, 117 S. Pennsylvania St.
The telecast of ABC’s morning show will originate from the plaza just north of Gainbridge Fieldhouse. Robin Roberts, who was a basketball start at Southeastern Louisiana University in the 1980s, is expected to be joined by fellow co-hosts George Stephanopoulos and Michael Strahan. This event is not open to the public.
WISE/R Symposium
8 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 18, Indianapolis Marriott Downtown, 350 W. Maryland St.
This daylong event focused on empowering women leaders includes networking opportunities and the chance to hear from WNBA champion Candace Parker and executives from across the league, including the Indiana Fever’s own Kelly Krauskopf. This event is sold-out.
Jam Sessions
3:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 18, Bullseye Event Center, 723 S. Capitol Ave.
This event, produced by Deep Blue Sports + Entertainment, Ensemble and iHeartMedia Women’s Sports, will include multiple conversations between current and former players, executives and other stakeholders about the growth and future of women’s professional basketball. The event begins with a live podcast taping hosted by original WNBA player Sheryl Swoopes and journalist Terrika Foster-Brasby, followed by a conversation with Indiana Fever forward Natasha Howard and EssentiallySports’ Josh Harwell. The evening will wrap with a live podcast taping of “Good Game with Sarah Spain” featuring a conversation with 2025 NCAA champion Azzi Fudd of the University of Connecticut, followed a cocktail networking reception. The Courtyard on Georgia Street
10 a.m. to 8 p.m. July 18-19, Georgia Street, between Meridian and Illinois streets
The middle block of Georgia Street will be home to a food-and-drink destination operated by Cunningham Restaurant Group and billed as The Courtyard. DJs will provide a soundtrack, and a customized “W” sculpture will be on display. Admission is free.
WNBA Skills Challenge & 3-Point Contest
8 p.m. July 18, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania St.
The event is sold out, but resale tickets start at $22. Fans can watch players showcase skills and go head-to-head in agility and long-range accuracy. Tickets are available at Ticketmaster.
Fever Fest
6 p.m. to 11 p.m. July 19, Everwise Amphitheater at White River State Park, 801 W. Washington St.
Hosted by comedian Deon Cole, the night will begin with a performance by singer 803Fresh, followed by comedians Cedric the Entertainer, Leslie Jones and Aida Rodriguez and performances by musicians The Kid Laroi, G-Eazy and Bia. After the entertainment, the event will transition into a WNBA All-Star Watch Party. Tickets can be purchased for $30 at Ticketmaster.
All-Star Bounce
9 a.m. to 11 a.m. July 19, starting at the American Legion Mall, 700 N. Pennsylvania St.
About 2,500 youth will dribble their way down a half-mile route from the American Legion Mall to Monument Circle. The event will feature mascots including the Fever’s Freddy Fever and the Pacers’ Boomer, music and other special guests.
2025 Speed City All-Star Women Business Event
9 a.m. to 1 p.m., July 19, One Virginia, 1 Virginia Ave.
This event offers networking opportunities, panel discussions and the chance to sign up for the JPMorgan Chase Coaching for Impact Program, which offers on-demand education and 1:1 consulting and coaching. Registration to the event is free, but limited. Sign up via Eventbrite.
Just Women’s Sports
2 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 19, 110 S. Pennsylvania St.
This free event is hosted by Just Women’s Sports, a digital media brand that covers all women’s sports, all the time. The event will also include a live podcast recording of “Between the Lines with Lisa Leslie,” featuring the former WNBA player in conversation with a slate of yet-to-be-announced special guests. The first 50 fans in attendance will receive a gift card to Famous Footwear.
GangGang All-Star Pregame + Watch Party
4 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. July 19, The AMP at 16 Tech, 1220 Waterway Blvd.
This music-first jam session spotlights Indianapolis’ female performers and includes DJs, art activations and a WNBA All-Star Game watch party.
A Space for Us fashion show
5:30 p.m. July 19, Indiana Convention Center 500 Ballroom
Presented by FAME Foundation in partnership with the Indiana Black Expo, this event showcases fashion and arts and features appearances by former WNBA players Chantel Tremitiere, Ty Young and Sheryl Swoopes. Tickets start at $28.49 and can be purchased online at posh.vip/e/a-space-for-us.
WNBA All-Star Game
8:30 p.m. July 19, Gainbridge Fieldhouse, 125 S. Pennsylvania St.
For the second consecutive year, Caitlin Clark, Aliyah Boston and Kelsey Mitchell will represent the Indiana Fever at the WNBA All-Star Game. This ticketed event is sold out. Resale tickets offered at Ticketmaster range from $140 to $6,900.
WNBA Live
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 18-19, Indiana Convention Center, 100 S. Capitol Ave.
The interactive event will offer fans the opportunity to secure exclusive merchandise, meet WNBA players and participate in interactive games. Tickets are available on Ticketmaster and are $25 for adults and free for children 12 years old and younger.
Spark on the Circle
Noon to 5 p.m. July 18, and 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 19, Monument Circle
Spark on the Circle will feature live performances by local artists, showcase All-Star art sold by local vendors and host various arts and crafts for children.
Through2Eyes history tours
8 a.m., 9 a.m., 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. July 18-19, starting at Spark on the Circle
Local historian Sampson Levingston will host walk-and-talk tours of the city, telling Indianapolis’ story through the lenses of basketball, art and impactful women. The tours are free, but space is limited. Register at Eventbrite.
Rokh public art tours
10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m., and noon to 1:30 p.m. July 18-19, starting at Spark on the Circle
Rokh Design Studio will host public art tours curated for All-Star Weekend. These walking tours are free, but space is limited. Register via Eventbrite.
Indy Dance Council
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 18-19, Indiana Convention Center and on the south spoke of Monument Circle
The Indy Dance Council will host experiences including a dance jam, silent disco, freestyle dance lessons, a street dance battle and a salsa dance party.
Musical Family Tree performances
10 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 18-19, Indiana Convention Center and the patio at Starbucks, 30 S. Meridian St.
The Musical Family Tree will include a series of pop-up performances featuring local musicians. Between live sessions, local DJs will perform.
Unrivaled HQ Presented by Sephora
Noon to 6 p.m. July 18, and 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. July 19, 416 Wabash Event Space, 416 E. Wabash St.
The free interactive activation presented by 3-on-3 women’s basketball league Unrivaled will feature an immersive game-day experience along with player appearances, fan contests and more, offering a day-in-the-life experience for an Unrivaled team.
Chreece Presents: The Glow-Up Lounge
Noon to 6 p.m. July 18, and 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. July 19, Monument Circle
Presented by the creators of the Chreece Hip-Hop Festival, this interactive event features Indianapolis-native creators and vendors offering sneaker customization, airbrush tattoos, face gems, nail art and custom apparel as well as food and drink.
‘On Her Game’ book tour event
Noon to 2 p.m. July 20, Jewish Community Center, 6701 Hoover Road
Keep the momentum going with a discussion and Q&A with Christine Brennan, a USA Today sports columnist and author of “On Her Game,” a new book about Caitlin Clark’s rise in the WNBA. Tickets are free, but limited. Reserve your spot at Eventbrite.

2025 All-Star Weekend public art
- The Indianapolis Children’s Museum will adorn its dinosaur sculptures with WNBA All-Star themed decor.
- A new Tamika Catchings mural by Nate Baranowski will honor the Fever legend’s legacy. The mural is located at the intersection of Massachusetts Avenue, New Jersey Street and Michigan Street.
- Two temporary murals displayed on the Indianapolis Artsgarden, at the intersection of Washington and Illinois streets, will honor Indiana and women in basketball.
- Sidewalk galleries and murals by top female artists from across the Indianapolis area can be found along downtown storefronts.
- Four “W” sculptures will pop up on Georgia Street, Monument Circle and Morris Bicentennial Plaza.
