• Soupremacy, a soup shop, is set to take the space at 7 E. Market St. formerly occupied by Teapots n Treasures, which moved to 133 E. Ohio St. in early October. The Ohio Street location is 1,500 square feet and about three times the size as its old space.

Teapots n Treasures owner Bonna Yarema Stroh opened the shop in 2002 in the Indy Fringe theater building on Massachusetts Avenue. It offers hundreds of different blends of tea, as well as tea infusers, cups and pots. She opened a second location, in September, at 11500 E. Washington St. in Cumberland.

First Watch, the Florida-based breakfast, brunch and lunch eatery, is opening a fourth location in the Indianapolis area. The restaurant is expected to open later this month in 3,036 square feet at the Willow Lake West shopping center at 2902 W. 86th St.

Other area locations are at 143 N. Illinois St. and 3309 E. 86th St. in Indianapolis, and at 1950 E. Greyhound Pass in Carmel.

Ambrosia reopened Oct. 25 after moving to 5901 N. College Ave., in part of the space formerly occupied by Fox Studios. The Italian restaurant had been located at 915 E. Westfield Blvd. since 1980 but left its longtime digs for better visibility and better access to parking. The space is much smaller, however, than Ambrosia’s former location—2,600 square feet compared with 4,300 square feet.

Axum Ethiopian Restaurant is taking the space at 825 N. Pennsylvania St. formerly occupied by The Abbey Coffee House. A new, red awning sports the name of the expected occupant, though an opening could be months away, as construction permits still adorn the front window at the 2,931-square-foot space.

Orange Leaf Frozen Yogurt continues its expansion in the metro area, with plans to open its latest shop in The Bridges development at 116th Street and Spring Mill Road in Carmel by the end of the year. The store will occupy 1,754 square feet and will be operated by franchisee Gurpartap Gill.

Gander Mountain has filed plans to build a 45,540-square-foot store at 2175 N. Barrett Drive in Greenfield. The store would be the St. Paul, Minn.-based outdoor retailer’s fourth in the Indianapolis area. Just last month, Gander Mountain announced that a store at 216 Gable Crossing Drive in Avon should open in the spring. The company also has locations at 5702 E. 86th St. and 1049 Emerson Avenue in Greenwood.

Fabric Care Center opened its first “drive-in/drop-off” dry cleaning store Nov. 1 at 151 E. Market St. Customers can pull into the adjacent parking garage and drop off or pick up dry cleaning without leaving their car. On-site clothing alterations also are available in the same location.

Fabric Care Center was founded by Peter Prionas, who opened a self-service Laundromat on West Washington Street in 1960. The company is led by son Tom Prionas and still operates its original store that expanded to 5760 W. Morris St.

Great Clips has agreed to lease 1,260 square feet at Tasha’s Plaza, 9155 E. 56th St., at Fort Harrison. The Minneapolis-based hair salon chain is set to open the location in February.

Massage Envy, a Scottsdale, Ariz.-based franchise, is set to open its 13th store in the Indianapolis area, at 6280 College Ave. The 3,283-square-foot spa should be open by the first of the year.
