Hit-and-run kills bicyclist on west side

Indianapolis police are investigating the hit-and-run death of a bicyclist on the city’s west side. A woman called police Friday morning at about 2:30 a.m. after she thought she ran into the victim at the intersection of Oliver and Luett avenues. Investigators determined another driver had already hit the man and left him to die.
