In total, the parents are behind in support payments for their 13 children by nearly $370,000, ranging from $21,000 to nearly $100,000 each. The charges follow the “Stop Delaying-Start Paying” amnesty initiative, which gave parents the opportunity to come forward without penalties. Charged were Jumoke Bobbitt, Mark Brown, Brianna Clayton, Damon Edwards, Jeffrey Lewis and Khalis Smith. Last year, the office collected more than $100 million in child support. It is managing about 76,000 child-support cases.
