Subscribe NowA Monrovia High School teacher accused of raping a 16-year-old student entered a not-guilty plea in court Monday morning. Daniel Goens, 45, was investigated after the student reported the alleged assault in September. Goens, who entered the courtroom in tears, is charged with rape, criminal deviate conduct, confinement and child seduction. He is being held on a $40,000 bond, but that could be lowered at a Tuesday hearing.
