  1. The governor is an idiot. State Department sets up the vetting process and I don’t trust them. My direct experience in the past with them indicates they are one of the worst government agencies. Add in politics and you have a time bomb for a terrorist to enter the US through this program.

  2. Ah, the keyboard warriors share their wisdom. As much as I’m a huge proponent of limited government, I’ll still trust the State Department, our security infrastructure and the military more than the tin foil racists here.

  3. The IBJ is sooo PC. “…stick around and use their talents here”? You got to be kidding. Like what “talents” do these folks have that we need here in Indiana, or any other place in this country?

And I agree with John A. The State Department could very well be the worse U.S. Government department. Filled top to bottom with incompetent, highly political leftist boobs.

  4. Who specifically has worked in the State Department and has the expertise and knowledge to speak so definitively. Perhaps the policy was established by rightist boobs. Nevertheless, Indiana needs talent. Perhaps the multi-lingual Afghan vetted individuals are doctors or nurses which could greatly assist with the outrageously unhealthy Indiana residents and those now subject to Covid.

Hopefully, these individuals from Afghanistan will not be subject to personal insults and foul-mouthed comments so typical for too many.

Some opine: Afghans stay, bigots leave.
