Quote: “… It is about who is going to write the policies that protect Hoosiers.”
That would include Hoosiers yet unborn, right, Dana?
Unfortunately, those who claim to “protect” the unborn fail to protect the born. If you’re not going to support funding for a roof over those kids heads, a decent education for them, daycare so the parent(s) can work, you’re just punishing the woman for getting pregnant. You’re forcing their birth but not taking responsibility for it. Typical for the right wing. Punishment – the core of right-wing domestic policy, whether socially or financially, but for rich white folk and major corporate donors.
Sorry you are so narrow-minded, Grant. Dozens of couples have waited years to adopt newborns, so your typical left-wing nonsense about providing for unwanted babies after they’re born is a red herring. Provision exists for their being raised in a loving, two-parent home….which you conveniently ignore to serve your own agenda.
The nation has over 400K children in foster care, obviously there aren’t enough adult looking to be parents.
