This is good, but we really need to focus on future-proofing our ports. Single ports in other countries get similar levels of investment as the entire infrastructure bill gives to all US ports. It’s unacceptable.
How about reimbursing business for the price gouging by freight shippers and suing them for the gouge? Also, reimbursing the port storage fees charged when we had nothing to do with the delays. Costs my company $150K at min and we are a small company.
Headline: Buttigieg doles out $241M to U.S. ports to boost supply chain.
Where did Buttigieg come up with $241 million?
We did change the headline to reflect the fact that Buttigieg announced the grants. Thanks for your comments.
Nice puffy piece from the adoring press. The same press that collectively hid Pete’s 3 month vacation. Now he is handing out Monopoly money and the old man in the WH says there is no supply chain crisis. Democrats are quite the piece of work.
Little Bo Pete is a joke.
