Subscribe NowThe Indiana Attorney General’s office has filed suit against local home-service provider Mister Quik, claiming the company overcharged and misled customers. The state said it received multiple complaints from consumers who said Mr. Quik representatives told them their homes could burn down if they did not receive immediate electrical repairs. “When consumers had an opportunity to step back and re-evaluate the situation, they learned they were charged two or three times more than the rate for the repair,” said Deputy Director of Consumer Protection Terry Tolliver. The suit seeks repayment for customers and legal fees.
