Investigators are considering pressing charges against James Harrington, an official with Mount Vernon Community Baptist
Church, for allegedly baiting a white officer to see how he would respond to two African-American men fighting. Police Sgt.
Matthew Grimes was hurt in the incident, which took place July 24 at the Municipal Gardens public recreation facility on the
near-north side of Indianapolis. He injured his back while trying to break up the staged fight.
