Indiana Pacers draft pick Lance Stephenson is facing an assault charge in New York City on the accusation that he pushed
his girlfriend down a flight of stairs. NYPD spokesman Paul Browne said police arrested Stephenson after responding to a 911
call Sunday at the woman's Brooklyn home. He said she hit her head on a concrete step, and was treated for head and neck
injuries. Police arrested Stephenson on charges of assault, reckless endangerment and menacing.
