Instead, the rifle discharged, firing a bullet directly into the 10-year-old’s torso. Savannah Ross died from the injuries. A sibling and two other friends saw the incident. Bixler has been charged with criminal recklessness, reckless homicide and pointing a firearm, but additional charges could be filed. Fox59 will have more at 4 p.m.
