An Indianapolis man is under arrest, charged with tying up an 80-year-old woman and stealing her ATM card Sunday night in the 2100 block of Columbia Avenue on the city's east side. Police say 44-year-old Lee Miller, a homeless man, broke into the woman's home by cutting through a screen in her upstairs window. He forced her to give him her cell phone, ATM card, driver’s license, checkbook and car keys, police say. After he left, the woman was able to use a kitchen knife to cut herself free. She called 911 from a neighbor’s house, and police picked up Miller at a nearby ATM a short time later. He faces charges of robbery, criminal confinement and burglary.
