Motorcyclist dies in crash with truck

Indianapolis police are investigating a deadly crash on the city's west side. About 3:30 p.m. Thursday, a utility truck struck a motorcycle on the Interstate 465 northbound ramp to 56th Street. The unidentified motorcyclist, who was pinned under the truck, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the utility truck, Christopher Schell, 51, of Kokomo, was uninjured. Witnesses say the cyclist was struck while attempting to turn left off the ramp onto West 56th Street.
