The Public Relations Society of America awarded Indianapolis-headquartered Shank Public Relations Counselors Inc. the Silver Anvil Award of Excellence for its work with the Japan-America Society of Indiana “Bridges To Japan” exhibit promotion at the 2010 Indiana State Fair.
There were 852 entrants from across the country in this year’s Silver Anvil competition, and Shank Public Relations was the only finalist in the category from Indiana.
“This is the Academy Awards of the public relations industry,” said Shank President David L. Shank. “It’s a great honor for our client and for us to be honored with the Silver Anvil Award of Excellence.
The awards were presented at a June 9 ceremony in New York City.
