The Lacy Leadership Association will hold its annual matchmaking effort between not-for-profits and potential board members on Monday.

Get on Board will include exhibits from 68 local not-for-profit groups looking to fill board vacancies. The Lacy Leadership Association expects more than 500 people to attend the free event, which is open to the public, at Conseco Fieldhouse.

Among the exhibitors will be the 500 Festival, Community Alliance of the Far Eastside, Hoosier Environmental Council, Music for All and the Peace Learning Center.

This is the ninth year for Get on Board, which claims credit for placing more than 2,000 people on not-for-profit boards.

Lacy Leadership Association, based in Indianapolis, comprises graduates of one of three leadership training programs: Opportunity Indianapolis, Leadership Education and Development or the Stanley K. Lacy Executive Leadership Series.
