A Monrovia High School teacher accused of raping a 16-year-old student was arrested Thursday. Daniel Goens, 45, was placed on paid leave in September after a student reported the alleged assault. The student said the incident happened at Goens' home after she was asked to come there to babysit. He was charged with rape, deviate conduct, criminal confinement and two counts of child seduction. School administrators said they would seek Goens' termination.
