Cheerleading coach pleads not guilty to seduction

A Shelbyville High School assistant cheerleading coach charged with child seduction pleaded not guilty in court Thursday morning. Megan Crafton, 22, was arrested on June 15 and preliminarily charged with the Class D felony. She is accused of having inappropriate sexual relations with a 17-year-old male student. She was not a teacher at the school and did not coach the student, but was charged because she was in a position of authority as a school employee.
