WRTV-TV Channel 6 will have two new anchors delivering its morning news beginning in January.

The Indianapolis ABC affiliate announced Monday that it has hired Marc Mullins and Beth Vaughn to fill the weekday morning slot.

Station reporter Tanya Spencer assumed the duties temporarily following the departure of news anchor Grace Trahan in September.

Mullins graduated from Boston University in 1998 and most recently was an anchor and reporter at KMTR-TV Channel 16, the NBC affiliate in Eugene, Ore. He previously held similar positions at stations in Atlanta and Missoula, Mont.

Vaughn, a 2007 graduate of the University of Illinois, has worked as a reporter and anchor at NBC affiliates KSHB-TV Channel 41 in Kansas City, Mo., and KSNT-TV Channel 27 in Topeka, Kan.

Meanwhile, WRTV remains without a news director following the departure of Kevin Finch in November.
