Subscribe NowThe Indiana Senate's corrections and criminal law committee voted 9-0 Tuesday in favor of the bill that would legalize the sale and possession of spring-loaded knives, usually called switchblades. State Sen. Jim Tomes, R-Wadesville, said his bill would help Indiana residents with arthritis or those who need the ability to quickly open a knife, such as paramedics.
