Franklin police say the south-side community is having graffiti problems, with some homes being spray-painted multiple times. Police received reports of graffiti on three homes and one vehicle over the weekend, giving the city more than 50 graffiti reports so far this year, compared with five reports in 2011. Most of the incidents involve teenagers painting what they believe are gang symbols, police said.
