Fahrlander was CEO of Hillcrest Medical Center, a 691-bed hospital in Tulsa, Okla. Before that, he was chief operating officer at Memorial Health System in Colorado Springs, Colo., and senior vice president of Parkland Health & Hospital System in Dallas. Fahrlander holds a bachelor’s degree from Missouri State University in gerontology and psychology. He also holds a masters of health administration degree from Washington University School of Medicine and a masters degree in administration he earned at Southwest Baptist University. Fahrlander will start with Community Sept. 16.
